Your story

Your Florist; Your Friend

Dec 21, 2016

Many of us, at some time in our lives, have bought flowers at a big box store or a grocery store or even online.  It sure can be convenient, and boy, aren’t they cheaper too!?

Well…not really.  Let’s think about some of these questions…

Does the cashier at the box store know how many flowers you will need?
Or what colors will work best? Or which flowers are in season?
Or when the flowers came in?
Or if they are fresh?!?!
I could continue on and on, and each of these items would cost you!

How can you call it convenient if you have the wrong flowers, old flowers, or even too many flowers for your needs.  If the deal is too good to be true there is a reason for that.

A local florist specializes in floral knowledge, from color to texture, seasonal buds to longevity of each flower, and how each flower can come together to make your vision become a reality.  Local florists purchase their flowers from local wholesalers and floral farms that stand by their product, and therefore the florist is able to stand by the product they deliver to you.  This is not so in the supermarkets, big box stores or online as they focus more on quantity; while your local florist specializes in quality!

Florists also specialize in customer service!  A local florist will have your best interest at heart.  They will want your repeat business and therefore will guide you in the right direction and help you make the best choice for your needs each and every time.  They will provide suggestions that fit your ideas and respect your budget.  You bring the ideas to the table and a florist will work with you to make them a reality!

Your florist is your friend.  Find one you are comfortable with and start a relationship today!  If you need just a single flower or you are planning a wedding, a well established relationship with a local florist will make sure you have the flowers of your dreams!
